At the heart of my approach is a belief that plants were intentionally designed with unique purposes in mind by God. Each plant possesses distinct properties that can address various health concerns—making them the original source of medicine. Modern medicine often isolates and modifies these healing compounds, patenting them and bringing them to market. However, when these compounds are isolated they are also altered. The addition of stabilizers, preservatives, colorings, and other chemicals can then introduce a host of side effects.

While I firmly believe modern medicine has its place, I advocate for a natural approach as the first choice. By becoming more attuned to our bodies, we can address health issues as they arise, rather than just masking symptoms.

This mindset didn’t develop overnight—it was a gradual, methodical shift, informed by my years of experience in the medical field. As a former clinical medical assistant and phlebotomist, I worked in a variety of settings, including primary care for veterans, pulmonology, and pediatric care. What I observed in these clinics was a concerning pattern: many patients were caught in an endless cycle of medication and managing symptoms without truly addressing the root causes of their issues.

Our bodies are incredibly responsive to what we consume. Highly processed foods lead to cellular decay, while natural plants, nourishing meats, and proper rest tend to support overall health deep to the cellular level.
As a homemaker, mother, and the primary provider of meals for my family, I believe it’s my responsibility to nourish my loved ones from the inside out—starting even before conception.
Food is medicine. Plants are medicine.
